I'm originally from Bay City, Michigan. I've been interested in rocks and minerals since 2000. I was gifted four or five flats of different mineral specimens when I was in 4th grade. I looked over each of those specimens endlessly and in absolute awe. That moment planted a seed. My love for stones and handmade jewelry blossomed even more throughout the years, but especially after moving to Traverse City, MI, in 2013. I rock collected for the first time and eventually moved on to hand polishing. I started experimenting with some leftover craft wire in late 2016 and shortly after, WirePlexus was born.

My first inspiration/teacher online was Oxana from Oxana Crafts and my biggest since have been Nolan McLellan and Miles McDonald. Truthfully, I've been inspired by more artists than I can count over the years, but these few taught me so much.

I'm so proud to say that I've sold hundreds of wraps since I started my business, through word of mouth, my Etsy shop, and wholesalers. I've shipped orders to 30 states and even once to Canada. I've gotten to see my pendants out in the wild and had past pendants come back to me for minor repairs. I've gotten several raving reviews and gotten to make custom pieces. I absolutely cherish every bit of this experience. These are my biggest and most fulfilling accomplishments and I'm forever grateful.

More recently, I began practicing lapidary arts more seriously and selling rock and mineral specimens as well. I wanted to create this new website as a way to bring all of my offerings to one place.
